Happy February 2, 2014

6 More Weeks of Winter, Dress Warmly.

Brought to you by the silly Susanna Leonard Hill. Yes, it is nearly Groundhog’s Day and her popular character Phyllis thought this would be fun. (I found out about this at 4 PM and entries were due by 5. Keeping up with the prolific Susanna is difficult for me. I usually find out on Erik’s site, often too late to enter.) Yes, that is why there is no color. I didn’t even finish the bottom of the dress. The middle of the bottom should look like lava, and that is a dragon tail wrapped around Phyllis.  The middle of the belt should have a large “P” for Phyllis, of course. This is the real Phyllis:  Phyllis Solo cropped . Phyllis has a couple of books: 616liJlVgvL._SL500_AA300_ 6105GM9JKYL._SS500_ . And a trailer:       . All that is left to say is . . .

Happy Groundhog’s Day!

. . . and please stop chuckling.

Yesterday’s post was not visible. It was one of those days, I guess, and the post vanished. To see it look under the navigation bar under Markdowns and Smilies. These are a few shortcuts you can use in your comments.  Here is the link:  http://kid-lit-reviews.com/of-interest/markdowns-smilies/

Thank you for liking this post, Rhythm. My Phyllis must be better than I thought. You were stunned silent. Unusual for you, my loyal reader. Maybe you were inspired by all the Phylis’ and are now drawing your own. I would love to see it when you are finished. 🙂

    • Color was my intention, but time ran out quickly. Still, it was so much fun trying to figure what a groundhog would rather do than sleep if winter would not go away.
