Off to Gran and Grandpa’s house is a special time for one little zebra. Warm hugs, one-on-one time, special treats and surprises awaits the little zebra. Grandparents might be best nicknames Fun in this zebra’s life. Oh, and magical. When there is no time to go there, Zebra’s grandparents find time to visit. Whether learning new skills, acting silly together or reading a good book, time spent with Zebra’s grandparents is always filled with love.

My Grandparents Love Me tells of the special bond between grandparents and their grandchildren. I have always found it magical how parents, stern and bewildering, become goofy and fun once a grandchild is born. Claire Freedman (Aliens Love Panta Claus) will delight children with her rhyming story, each verse is easy to read, bouncing off the tongue in a meter that never skips a beat.

Judi Abbot (Mouse’s Christmas Wish) illustrations are gorgeous and greatly enhance this intergenerational love and relationship story. Full of happy movement, these grandparents are active and involved in their grandchild’s life. Life both at the grandparent’s home or the young zebra’s fills the pages with love as seen through these adorable images.
