The Top Book for 2014 was never voted on last December. Most of you know I was on a leave of necessity. I would greatly appreciate you going back in time to the year 2014 and vote on the best of the best in the following childrens’ book categories. Granted, winning earns nothing but bragging rights (unless someone knows of a business offering low-cost book award stamps–awarded retroactively for all years), but it wold be an honor to know what KLR readers think. Each book has received a 6-star review here at KLR.
Please vote now for your favorite book!

The Top Holiday Book for 2014 had only one entry—Lobo’s Howliday by C. L. Murphy—because I missed the holiday season. Those newer holiday books, that would have received a 6-star review, will be included in the Top Books of 2015. I apologize to those authors and illustrators.
Congratulations to C. L. Murphy for her holiday picture book Lobo’s Howliday!
Thank you for taking time to vote for your best book.
Voting ends at midnight, April 30th, 2015. Please only vote once per category. Thanks!
I am glad your are mending! I read many of the books you listed in each category. Hard to choose in some cases.

So glad to see that you are back the blogosphere, we missed you!!!!! I hope that means you sorted out your computer problems with that pesky store, and your hip is on the mend. I can’t vote as I haven’t read any of these yet… I know, naughty author, caught up in own stuff… Take care Sue

Hi Julie. All is almost over. Still in a wheelchair and have some rehab to do in a couple of weeks, but finally allowed to put weight on that leg. If you read the reviews you can vote—even if you didnt. That is what this is on, the reviews and those that received the highest number. You didn’t need to read anything but the review(s). It really is not a big deal, just bragging rights. No medals or stickers (unless you know of some place not expensively prohibitive). Nice to hear from you again. 🙂

Hello Stranger. It has been a very long time since you have been here. I hope your crazy pipe wins. Canadians do the most interesting things to forget the cold and snow. haha 🙂
Interested folks can check this out here: http://motherdaughterbookreviews.com/need-your-help-with-voting-time-sensitive/ and while you do, vote for that dang pipe.

If you would rather, I can move your nomination to 2015. 🙂 Congrats on the stunning picture book, Lobo’s Howliday! Wish there were more than bragging rights. Hoping to get that changed.

Um…uh. No Takesies Backsies. Are you going to be an Indian Giver? Oh, shoot! That term sounds racist. I’m not going to look the “gift horse in the mouth”, so because “beggars can’t be choosers”, I’m taking that award and running with it. 😀
